National League South

Kick Off: 15:00

Jubilee Stadium

Overview:

City welcome Torquay United to the Jubilee for the second part of our bank holiday double in the National League South.

After a difficult start to the campaign, Marc Richards’ side have recovered, winning back-to-back games to push them into the top ten.

The Tigers secured a well-earned three points at Dulwich on Saturday, thanks to Noah Smerdon’s second-half strike.

But with just a day’s rest separating the two fixtures, Richards could well make changes, as he looks to utilise his squad.

A win for City could see them move into the top 7.

The Opposition:

The Gulls sit 15th in the table, just a point of City, having made a good start to the season which saw them pick up 7 points out of their first 3 games.

But since then, they have failed to find the net in their last three.

They were beaten at home to Hampton & Richmond on Saturday, but despite the poor form, they have remained solid at the back, conceding just 3 goals so far this season.

Torquay’s squad has experienced a major revamp from last season after they were relegated from the National League.

Their summer acquisitions include former Newcastle youngster Kyle Cameron and midfielder Chris Regis from League Two side Port Vale.

Ruairi Keating is the club’s top scorer, the striker has two goals so far this season.

Last Six Results:

Hampton & Richmond: L 2-0

Slough Town: D 0-0

Oxford City: L 1-0

East Thurrock: W 2-0

Bath City: W 1-0

Chelmsford City: D 0-0

Last Line-up:

Bass, Cameron, Essuman, Dickson, Davis, Hall, Banton, Nabi, Wynter, Williams, Reid
