Gloucester City defender Jack Harris will miss the opening of the 2014/15 Conference North season with a knee injury.\r\n\r\nThe club has received the detailed scan report of Harris’s knee injury received during pre season training and we are pleased to say that it’s not as bad as first feared.\r\n\r\nTigers manager Tim Harris is disappointed that Jack will not be available for the first few weeks of the season, but is pleased with his strength in depth to cover the injury.\r\n\r\n“Whilst we are extremely disappointed he will not be available for the first few weeks of the new season, it is positive that the injury is relatively short term,” explained Harris.\r\n\r\n“Jack is already working with club physiotherapist Charlotte Wigmore on his rehabilitation and we are delighted that it’s going to be a few weeks rather than a few months.”\r\n\r\n“With Matt Williams, Sam Avery, Ruairidh Winters and youngster Spencer Hamilton we have good strength in depth to handle the current situation in his absence.”
