Tim Harris has issued a rallying cry to Gloucester City supporters, urging them that there are “no excuses” to not be at Whaddon Road on Sunday afternoon.\r\n\r\nThe Tigers host Darlington 1883 on Sunday as Cheltenham Town play at Whaddon Road on Saturday afternoon, and Harris wants to see as many City fans there on Sunday as possible.\r\n\r\n”They [Darlington 1883] are a big, big side. Obviously they are steeped in history… and we know they’re going to be a right handful.\r\n\r\n”It’s important that we stay focused and we go into the game with a positive attitude and we’re on the front foot. Whether they bring 300 or 600 [fans] it doesn’t matter.\r\n\r\n”Our supporters have been fantastic, they never stopped singing on Tuesday night and I’d like to see some large numbers what with it being a Sunday – there’s no excuses for those that are playing on a Saturday, come to Whaddon Road and let’s see if we can put in another sterling performance.”\r\n\r\nThe full interview is available below.\r\n\r\n
