Gloucester City Football Club can confirm that Manager Tim Harris has added two players to the squad for the Gloucestershire Senior Cup tie with Shortwood United on Monday.

Harris has added Jake Slocombe of Yate Town and Reece King of Malvern Town on dual registrations and they will both be used in the Senior Cup tie at Evesham United’s Jubilee Stadium this upcoming Monday (13 February). Kick Off 7.30pm

Slocombe, 23, is a former Mangotsfield United midfielder who has spent time in America with the Thomas University Night Hawks.

He trialled with Bristol Rovers in the summer of 2015, having been with them as a futsal scholar in his early career.

King is also a midfielder who has played 22 times for Malvern Town this season, as well as captaining the Worcestershire side.

Tim Harris said “Jake has been training with the club for a few weeks now and Reece trained before breaking his leg earlier in the season and is now fully fit, so we are looking forward to them both playing a competitive game for the club.”
