Gloucester Futsal Revolution are gearing up for the first game of their first season in the FA National League Midlands Division.
The team founded by Gloucester City Supporters’ Trust, won promotion last season.
But their first fixture of the season at ‘home’ vs Loughborough on Sunday has now been moved to @Futsal Swindon due to GL1′s flooring not being ready in time.
With the final training session taking place tomorrow, manager Jim Hart has been making his final signings.
Daniel Wallington, Lucas Brimfield, Matt Davies have all signed up – the trio were previously with Futsal Hereford along with the highly rated Milan Punak.
The four new signings join the rest of the squad, made up of a mix of local talent from Gloucester and students from the University of Gloucestershire.

Jim said: “We’ve built a great squad and everyone is excited to start the season.
“We know we have a tough test against Loughborough in our first game, they have a national academy for Futsal but our lads are more than capable of bringing the game to them.
“For Gloucester to have a Futsal team competing on the national stage is a big deal and we hope to see people down at GL1 cheering on our boys this season.”
Gloucester Futsal Revolution also has a thriving youth section. For more information on how to get involved email Jim on community@gloucestercityafc.

In 2010 a committee was formed and the name Futsal Club Gloucester adopted. In 2011Gloucester City Supporters’ Trust announced the launch of Gloucester Football Revolution, the purpose of the partnership is to ‘ revolutionise the way people in Gloucester think about football.’
In 2012 Futsal Club Gloucester rebranded to Gloucester Futsal Revolution and played their first season in the National League. Currently Gloucester Futsal Revolution holds u9s, U12s, u14sand U16 sessions and two adult sessions, every week at GL1 spanning 16 hours of delivery.
