Gloucester City Football Club are pleased to announce the loan signing of Wigan Athletic striker Louis Robles.\r\n\r\nRobles, 19, joins the Tigers on loan for the rest of the season from the Latics.\r\n\r\nThe move comes as Bobbie Dale is ruled out for the rest of the season and Tim Harris says the signing is important for the Tigers.\r\n\r\nHarris said “With Joe Parker out and Luke Hopper only just returning to full fitness, it’s important that we are not left short with our striking options.\r\n\r\n”Louis has scored an impressive 13 goals in 14 appearances for the Wigan Development side this side against some decent opposition.\r\n\r\n”Last season he scored 29 goals in 35 games for their youth team and we are hoping he can continue that form with us when he joins.”\r\n\r\nRobles has been registered in time for the Tigers away fixture with Alfreton Town this coming Saturday.\r\n\r\nMany of the Gloucester City squad, including Robles, will visit the Children’s Unit at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital prior to training this evening.
