Gloucester City are delighted to announce that we have presented a cheque for £2000 to our charity partner, The Pied Piper Appeal. \r\n\r\nThe money is The Tigers share of the proceeds from the 2014 Charity Shield, with City qualifying to nominate a local Charity because of their appearance in the FA Cup First Round proper in season 2013-14.\r\n\r\nCommenting on the donation Chairman Mike Dunstan said “We are delighted to put another £2000 into the coffers of this very worthy cause. As a club we are always looking to connect with and support our local community, and we know this money will go towards fantastic Pied Piper projects at Gloucestershire Royal”.\r\n\r\nChairman of the Pied Piper Appeal, Nick Broady commented: “This is another amazing amount of money kindly donated to benefit the sick and disabled children of Gloucestershire, we at Pied Piper are truly grateful for the ongoing support and relationship we have with Gloucester City.”\r\n\r\nBroady went on to say, “We are truly grateful for this hard earned £2000 in the FA cup and a big thank you to the owners, management team and supporters for their continued support of Pied Piper.”\r\n\r\n
