Gloucester City Football Club are pleased to confirm the loan signing of Forest Green Rovers midfielder Louis McGrory until the end of the season.

The move comes on transfer deadline day as Tim Harris looks to bolster his midfield options for the final eight games of the National League North season.

Now in his second season as a professional at Forest Green, McGrory is a talented central midfielder who has progressed through the FGR Academy set up.

He joined the set up as a 16 year old following his release from Swindon Town, going on to impress in his first year with the youth team.

In his first season with the Nailsworth side he spent time out on loan with Evesham United, before ending the campaign on loan with National League outfit Aldershot Town.

McGrory, 19, has spent further time with Evesham this season, after starting the campaign on loan at Hungerford Town in the National League South.
