All at Gloucester City would like to wish our loyal fans, our Supporters trust, our volunteers, sponsors and backers a really happy Christmas, together with health, wealth and happiness for 2015.\r\n\r\n2015 promises to be an exciting year for all associated with Gloucester City.\r\n\r\nWe are putting together an competitive team on the pitch that will, I am sure, see a very positive second half to the season.\r\n\r\nWith the continued financial backing of our owners, our Sponsors and our fantastic Supporters Trust we are building on a sustainable and long term vision for our teams – not just the first team, but all those that play under it – from under-7s to adult and all stages in between.\r\n\r\nWe have continued to build an experienced and committed team to drive our return to Gloucester and are making progress towards the day that all fans want to see when demolition of the old ground, and construction of the new begins.\r\n\r\nAlthough there is much to do, and multiple agencies to work with we believe we can be in that position from spring, and then the new ground will seem real for all of us and the City – please bear with us as we get through this behind-the-scenes work which is so vital for a successful project.\r\n\r\nThere is much to be proud of at City – our first team playing at a fantastic level, our fabulous Youth set up, our community arm that provides opportunities and support and mentoring (not just football-related) to all comers including some of the most disadvantaged in our community.\r\n\r\nGloucester may not play in Gloucester at this moment, but it IS a major part of the community and the City should be as proud of that as we are to represent the City.\r\n\r\nI hope all our volunteers enjoy some relaxation and rest over the holidays, we could not do any of this without you!\r\n\r\nTo the people of Gloucester we wish you all a great holiday period.\r\n\r\nPlease consider taking in our match on Boxing Day (3pm at Whaddon Road) – you will not be disappointed and will be made very welcome!
