Gloucester City are pleased to announce the signing of former Stoke City defender Bobby Moseley.
Moseley, 20, began his youth career at Coventry City, before joining Stoke following a spell at Birmingham City.
In March 2016, he joined San Antonio FC in the United Soccer League on loan, appearing 12 times
A spell at Solihull Moors followed before joining Southport in the National League where he made six appearances this season.
Moseley is also experienced at international level, having appeared 25 times for the Republic of Ireland at youth level, featuring in the UEFA European Championships at both U17 and U19 level.
Manager Tim Harris said: “Bobby is a left sided defender and can play further up in midfield. He has seen our last two games against Tamworth and Worcester and has been training with us recently.
“We’re very much looking forward to what he can bring to the squad.”
Moseley has been registered in time to face AFC Telford United this afternoon. Spencer Hamilton has been withdrawn from the squad due to illness.
