Gloucester City Football Club are now in a position to be able to announce that George Miller and Nathan Modest have signed for the club.\r\n\r\nBoth come to the Tigers with Football League experience as Miller, a 22-year-old midfielder, has played for Preston North End and Accrington Stanley whilst Modest, a striker, has appeared for Sheffield Wednesday.\r\n\r\nThe two have been training with the squad at Hartpury College for the previous fortnight, impressing manager Tim Harris, and were at Saturday’s home game against AFC Fylde.\r\n\r\nSheffield-born Modest has also played for Darlington, and most recently Northern Premier League side Lincoln United.\r\n\r\nMiller has been at League Two Accrington Stanley for the last two seasons, making 29 league appearances, and spent a spell on loan at Chester.\r\n\r\nThe pair will both feature in the friendly against Lydney Town on Tuesday evening.\r\n\r\nThe club are also close to releasing a couple of players so they can play regular football and are looking at signing of another goalkeeper.
