Gloucester City Chairman Mike Dunstan OBE has reported encouragingly good season ticket sales as the club prepares for the new season groundsharing at Evesham United.

As a result, the club are pleased to confirm that we have extended the Early Bird season ticket deadline.

Dunstan said “We are delighted that the exceptional fans of this club have embraced the move, and are renewing or buying season tickets for the first time.

“When we announced our enforced move to Evesham we knew that there was a risk that some would choose not to make the journey, but we have already exceeded the sales we made during the Early Bird period last year, and that goes a long way to ensuring we can plan for a positive season ahead.

“I have been struck by how many first-time buyers we have had – it shows that the fans are really getting behind the club and that’s hugely heartening for Tim, myself and everyone connected with the running of this club.

“It is an exciting time for the club, with ground works beginning for the new stadium, a major new sponsor in Connexus (and more exciting commercial deals to come), the retention of the bulk of our exciting young squad, and quality replacements for those leaving.

“To celebrate all of this we have decided to extend the Early Bird period for discounted season tickets for just over a week until Friday 9 June.

“I would urge any fan wanting a season ticket to seize the great savings on offer – and by doing so gaining the chance to win their season ticket for free in our Early Bird prize draw.”
