Gloucester City are pleased to announce the return of coaches to home games for a three game trial period, starting from September 13th against AFC Fylde, in conjunction with the Gloucester City Supporters Trust.\r\n\r\nThe coaches had run since our exile in 2007, but were stopped due to dwindling interest and fans making their own way to games.\r\n\r\nHowever, with the club in an upswing both on and off the pitch, a mystery benefactor has stepped forward to subsidise these three coaches to see if they are viable once more to help supporters come to Tigers home matches.\r\n\r\nThe club believes it will once again provide an easy and convenient way to travel to watch the club, particularly for Under 18’s and senior citizens, with pick-ups from Quedgeley Village Hall at 1pm, Meadow Park at 1:15pm, Morrisons Abbeydale at 1:25pm and The Cross Hands Brockworth at 1:35pm for £5 return.\r\n\r\nThe coach will be open to anyone, if you are a member of the Gloucester City Supporters Trust or not.\r\n\r\nCoach organiser Dave Jones hopes the club’s current feel-good factor will see more new faces use the service.\r\n\r\n“With City playing great football at the moment, the Trust is keen to make it as easy as possible for supporters to get to Whaddon Road, especially any new supporters who wish to take advantage of free entry for the Under 18’s.”\r\n\r\nTo book your place on these coaches, please contact Dave on 07540 257464, or Tweet the club @GCAFCofficial.
