Gloucester City striker Joe Parker has won the Budweiser FA Cup Player of the Round award after his stunning 19-minute hat-trick against Yate Town.\r\n\r\nThe 18-year-old gained 36% of the public vote, on the FA’s official website, and has marked the third time in six years that a Gloucester City player has won the award.\r\n\r\nJack Pitcher was victorious in 2007 after scoring five goals against Yate Town, and all-time appearance holder Tom Webb won the award in 2011 following a 7-2 victory over Truro City.\r\n\r\nParker has become the youngest winner of the award so far this season, and will now celebrate his victory at the FA Cup Final at Wembley Stadium in May, along with every other winner in this year’s competition.\r\n\r\nThe Tigers will continue their FA Cup journey on Saturday 26th October, facing off against Ryman Premier League outfit Hampton and Richmond Borough for a chance at the First Round Proper.
