Gloucester City are pleased to announce the signing of Jojo Wollacott from Bristol City on an initial 3-month loan. Jojo, who was on loan at Woking in the National League last year, has been in and around the Bristol City first team in recent months and enjoyed a successful loan spell in the National League South with Truro during their play off push at the back end of last season.

Jojo’s arrival signals the end of Adam Przybek and AJ Sesay’s loans as they both rejoin their respective parent Clubs.

Chris Todd had this to say on his latest acquisition,

“It’s safe to say that we’ve had problems in this postion ever since Matt Yates joined Hereford. Since then we’ve been largely unsettled with players injured or on international duty, the lads who came in did well and I want to thank them for their contribution. To finally get Jojo through the door however is a massive boost for us going into Christmas. Having worked with him previously at Truro, he’s a player I’ve been working hard to get into the Club since I joined and I’m delighted to have finally got him, with his talent and experience at this level, he’ll be a great addition to the squad.”

Gloucester City play Chelmsford City away in the National League South tomorrow at the Melbourne Stadium, Kick Off 15:00.
