Gloucester City are very pleased to welcome Lord Faulkner of Worcester and Susan O’Brien from the Football Conference Trust to GL1 Leisure Centre on Tuesday 30th December at 2pm. \r\n\r\nThe Football Conference Trust and the Tigers are celebrating the third year of funding for the Tigers’ community projects; the total sum of money has now reached £50k.\r\n\r\nThe Club, Supporters Trust committee members, community coaches and over 100 young people and children will be taking part in the event.\r\n\r\nThe Football Conference Trust chose the annual MY:UK football tournament at GL1 to host the presentation.\r\n\r\nThe club has worked with MY:UK, a city centre youth club, since 2011 to encourage participation in football from the diverse communities living in Gloucester’s city centre.\r\n\r\nGloucester City’s community project, previously known as the Gloucester City Revolution, will be launching its new brand in 2015.\r\n\r\nThe Supporters Trust, who manages the project, has chosen the new name of ‘Tigers in the Community’.\r\n\r\nA new website will come online in early 2015 with more events and projects flourishing throughout the new year.
