Gloucester City’s Skrill North fixture against Barrow on February 18th will become the new arranged date for the Tigers ‘Pay What You Want’ game.\r\n\r\nAll arrangements that had been in place for the original fixture against Histon, will now be transferred to this date.\r\n\r\nTigers chairman Stuart Pike, whilst disappointed the original fixture was postponed, believes this gives the club even more chance to rally behind Dave Mehew and his team.\r\n\r\n”Due to having lost three home fixtures in January, whilst it has not caused the financial crisis of 2013, the income drained from club funds due to those postponements has meant cash-flow contingency plans have been put into place,” Pike said.\r\n\r\n”In the restructure plans for the club, such a possible run of postponements was catered for.”\r\n\r\n”Having said that, the club can only take so many set backs of this sort and it is imperative that the fans of the club do rally around on the new date to safeguard finances and importantly support and show loyalty to the management and players.”\r\n\r\n
