Gloucester City Football Club can now announce details for “An Evening with Sporting Superstar Kevin Keegan.”\r\n\r\nWe are delighted that Liverpool and England legend Kevin Keegan will be joining us in the beautiful surroundings of the Hatherly Manor Hotel on Thursday 8th October.\r\n\r\nOne of Liverpool Football Club’s favourite sons, there’ll always be a special place in the heart of the Kop for Kevin Keegan.\r\n\r\nKevin Keegan was quite simply the footballing superstar of the Seventies. With his famous ‘bubble’ perm, the Yorkshire-born striker was an icon both for Liverpool and England.\r\n\r\nKeegan was a dynamic attacking force who can take much of the credit for the trophies which arrived at Anfield between 1971 and 1977.\r\n\r\nTwo UEFA Cups, three league titles, a European and FA Cup and a tally of 100 goals: the number seven left the Kop with a multitude of magical memories.\r\n\r\n“Robbery with violence” was how Bill Shankly described the capture of Keegan from Scunthorpe for a measly £35,000.\r\n\r\nFurthermore, we are pleased to confirm we have secured the services of the hilarious comedian Bob Webb who will compere the evening.\r\n\r\nWe have several packages on offer for this magnificent event, with prices starting as astonishingly low as £50 per individual ticket.\r\n\r\nWe also have two packages available for those wishing to attend in groups of 10. Premium tables of 10 are priced at £500 + VAT, which includes 2 bottles of house wine, main area table seating and a superb 3 course evening meal.\r\n\r\nOur VIP table of 10 is priced at £650 + VAT. In this package, you will be treated to an exclusive VIP reception, the opportunity to be in close company with Kevin Keegan for 45 minutes prior to the evening’s events, a fantastic opportunity to promote your company with pop-up banners and promotional material plus your logo in our event menus and much more.\r\n\r\nFor further information please contact Tim Harris on 07767 415415 or on [email protected].
