Gloucester City Football Club can now confirm a list of players that have committed to the club for the forthcoming National League North season.\r\n\r\nThese players join Sam Avery and Jasbir Singh who have already signed with the club ahead of the 2016/17 campaign.\r\n\r\nTom Webb – Midfielder\r\n\r\ntomwebb\r\n\r\nClub captain Webb, 31, has made over 640 appearances for City and was at the heart and soul of the midfield for most of last season.\r\n\r\nCalvin Dinsley – Midfielder\r\n\r\ncalvindinsley\r\n\r\nCalvin 25, signed for the Tigers from Kidderminster Harriers in November 2015 and quickly impressed fans with his calmness and ability on the ball.\r\n\r\nChris Knowles – Midfielder\r\n\r\nchrisknowles\r\n\r\nChis, 29, is a competitive midfielder who is a threat at set plays. He was signed midway through the 2014/15 campaign.\r\n\r\nSpencer Hamilton – Defender\r\n\r\nspencerhamilton\r\n\r\nSpencer 21, signed for the Tigers in 2014 and impressed in pre-season. It wasn’t until last season though where he staked a claim for regular first team football.\r\n\r\nStarting the season out at right back, Hamilton continued to display consistent performances week after week, ending the season having made 26 first team appearances.\r\n\r\nEdward Williams – Midfielder/Forward\r\n\r\nedwilliams\r\n\r\nEd 20, originally signed for the Tigers on loan from Cheltenham Town when he was 18, before signing permanently after spells at Evesham and Cirencester Town.\r\n\r\nWilliams has impressed the fans with his flair and quick feet and has been a stand out player last season.\r\n\r\nLewis Hall – Defender/Midfielder/Forward\r\n\r\nlewishall\r\n\r\nLewis 20, signed for the Tigers on loan from Bristol City during the 2014/15 campaign and was the Tigers joint top goalscorer last season, with a hat trick against Stalybridge Celtic and a brace against Curzon Ashton contributing to this – within three days of each other.\r\n\r\nJoe Parker – Forward\r\n\r\njoeparker\r\n\r\nJoe, now 21, was joint top goal scorer along with Hall in his first full campaign back with the Tigers since his release from Newport County which unfortunately was hampered by injury.\r\n\r\nLuke Hopper – Forward\r\n\r\nlukehopper\r\n\r\nLuke 27, signed for the Tigers from Swindon Supermarine in December 2015, where he made an impact as a pacey target man, who showed his lethal combination of strength and quickness.\r\n\r\nHe was made to wait for his first goals for City, but when they eventually came they were big – a late double bagged City a point away at Gainsborough Trinity.\r\n\r\nWe are hopeful of concluding our preseason schedule in the next 7 days, in the meantime our Early Bird Season Ticket offer runs until May 31, with prices starting from as low as £7.
